Mattingly brings 38 years of international experience, 26 years with Chevron in Africa, Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe and Russia to HKN Energy. During this time, he worked extensively with government and industry representatives from foreign countries to capture and then execute programs on various concessions. He has led international multi-disciplinary teams in the identification, capture and execution of opportunities and mentoring national staff. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia and his MBA from Saint Mary’s College, Mirage California.
